The exact term for your project is spelled out in your written agreement before we ever break ground, so you know precisely what's covered and for how long.

What It Costs

Every property is different.

So every price is too. We don't publish set rates — we come out, look at your space, and give you a written estimate built around your job. It's free, it's detailed, and there's no pressure attached to it.

Questions

Before you call, you probably want to know.

What determines the cost of a project?

Size, material choice, site access, and how much prep the ground needs all factor in. No two properties are the same, so we don't publish set prices — we walk your site, talk through what you want, and put a written estimate in your hands that breaks down exactly what's driving the number. It's free, and there's no obligation.

Do you handle permits?

Yes — for projects that require a permit, we handle pulling it as part of the job. We'll tell you upfront during your consultation whether your specific project needs one.

How long does a typical project take?

It depends heavily on scope — a paver walkway might be a couple of days, while a full backyard hardscape or roofing job can run one to two weeks. You'll get a real timeline estimate in writing before we start.

What does the warranty actually cover?

Every project is backed by a 5–10 year workmanship warranty — the exact term is spelled out in your written agreement before we break ground. It covers the craftsmanship of what we build; living plant material (trees, shrubs, sod and plantings) is the one thing nature won't let us warranty.

Do you work in winter? What about weather delays?

Michigan weather is part of the job. Some work (like concrete pours) is weather-dependent and may get rescheduled for quality reasons, but plenty of exterior work — including planning, permitting, and interior-adjacent work — continues year-round. We'll always communicate delays as soon as we know about them.

Do you publish your prices?

No, and here's why: the same project can cost very different amounts depending on your property's size, grade, access and the materials you pick. A number on a website would be a guess. Send us your job and we'll give you a real one, in writing, for free.

How does payment work?

Materials are due at signing — that covers what we have to order and put on the ground for your job, and it locks in your spot on the schedule. The balance is due when the work is done and you've walked it with us. It's the same on every job we take, big or small.

What areas do you service?

Oakland, Genesee, Livingston and Lapeer counties are our core service area, and we serve all of lower Michigan. For the right project, we'll travel further — just ask.

What happens during the on-site consultation?

We walk the property with you, take measurements, talk through material and design options at every budget, and answer questions on the spot. You'll leave with a clear sense of options — and follow up with a detailed written estimate, free and with no obligation.
